actually is a question about 301 vs pbn but not the same question:"which is better 301 or pbn to money site" :) there are already lots of threads about that.
i will explain:

i'm thinking to start a pbn of about 30 sites(expired domains, indexed, non dropped).but i dont have for the moment the budget for 30 hostings and i don't want to put more than 1 domain per hosting.
i have the budget for 10 hosting account

i'm thinking like that:
1)buy 30 expired domains (tf15+ clean profile, authority backlinks each, indexed etc)
2)put 10 best domains on 10 hosting accounts, put wordpress, articles etc = 10 domains pbn
3)redirect the remaining 20 domains to those 10 pbn domains(2 per domain). it will be 2x301 redirects for each of those 10 pbn domains above

in this way i will have a smaller pbn of only 10 domains but more powerful since each of those 10 domains will have the authority links + 2 x 301 redirected domains.

is this a good approach?

thanks

I don't think you should have 2 x 301 redirect on a single domain. It doesn't make sense in google eyes as why would 2 sites become only one.

Beside that, if you can get 10 hosting account, that's the structure you should go for:

Hosting1: One good domain + 2 regular domain
Hosting2: Same
.
.
.
.
Hosting10: Same

This way you will have 10 IPs, for 3 distinct PBNs. Get a nice a clean excel sheet and never cross links those domains.

Hosting1: Domain A B C
Hosting2: Domain A B C
etc etc.
---> Your domains A are 1 PBN, your domains B are another PBN, your domain C are the last PBN.
---> In no case you should switch one domain to another (taking H1-B and switching it as H1-A)
---> In no case you should like PBN AB AC or BC together, or 2 PBNs poiting to the same domain.
---> Make sure you spread the good domains/regular domains so that u can have at leas 3 Good domains per PBN.

Good luck

thank you for you answer.
but i have only one money site that i want to concentrate on. so i would prefer to use all those 30 domains for my money site in a way or other.

It's risky to intricate 301 & or poiting multiple domain from the same IP to youre. I fyou dont have the money yet then just buy the 10 good domains + 10 hosting and start with that.

I think there are just a few people actually using just 1 IP per domain.. It is expensive in the long run.. people use 2 3 domains per hosting all the time :) Remember that the internet is full of shared hostings so many websites have the same IPs even if created by different people

Yeah well it has been proven that 3 differents IPs sends more juice that just one. So it's possible, but it's risky for what it's worth.

yes but it is still highly unlikely to receive two backlinks from two websites on the same IP.

In addition to the diminishing returns, those are the people that get sites deindexed and money sites penalized. If you were to host 2 or 3 PBN domains on the same hosting, I definitely wouldn't be linking them all to my money sites. Even if you *could* get away with in the short term you're just begging for trouble.

I think Tayax gave you the best advice. If you only have money for 10, just start with 10. You can add more when you have more cash available.

301 redirects are nice here and there when the redirects are relevant. Too many of them will cause issues. I would just go with
building a smaller PBN and diversifying with other link types for now. :)

In my experience, 301 redirects are inferior in terms of link juice passed than building a full PBN on that domain. Perhaps the act of making a website, and adding content on it adds more value in the eyes of google, or perhaps because you can make the content of the PBN domain more relevant to the original links that are pointing to that domain, rather than redirecting it to a money site that may rarely be a perfect match, i don't know and i am not sure, but i would go about building a PBN on it as much as i can and avoid simply redirects, because it seems to me most of the link juice is lost.

Its ok to have multiple 301 domains to a single domain as well as pbn links. Try to have everything possible.
