Not all my website is indexed - Mostly image content for kids

I created a website that have around 200 I can see that google is scanning my pages slowly.
The website is 1-2 moths old already and I'm wondering if it's a matter of links (acquiring more links, more relevant links) Or I need to improve my content on those pages? most of them are full with images and a few words for the description.
