Hi,
Has anyone else noticed the new changes in YouTube interface? In the settings you can no longer see if your account is standard or partner, the monetization tab is different and now there is Movies link next to the upload button.

Are they going to remove the partnership extras totally, or just keep them hidden?

Yes there has defiantly been a change, clicking on the settings tab it is really unusual. (On both partnered accounts, normal accounts and monetized accounts.)

They will definitely not remove the partner features. Those need to stay for the partners to be happy and make money for YouTube (Google).

From what I can see... They haven't removed any partner features. This guy is right, they would never do that :p

I created some new yt accounts today and noticed on one that I checked that monetization was enabled automatically.

That's good for new accounts I guess, but for people that worked hard for the half a$$ed partnership kind of sucks.

Full partners still have the ability to force users to watch the instream ads which is really easy to make money if you have FP accounts.
