Not accepted to Ebay affiliate program

I wonder why I didn't get accepted to Ebay affiliate program. Do they have a list of countries which they accept? I'm from Europe and I thought I'd get approved 100%. Is there any other way to become partners with them, like via CJ or something?

I got rejected, too. I tried applying for the program in different countries through Pepperjam and it didn't make any difference. I believe it has something to do with your country of residence ( I'm from Argentina ), but I'm not sure. I've heard many people from the US also got rejected.

The only way I found to get associated with ebay is through Shoppingads.com.
I understand your linking capabilities are somewhat more restrictive now than they are at EPN and they do take a percentage of the commissions, but at least they do the job. I've heard some people have had some kind of trouble getting payed by them, but it has not been the case for me at all for the last 6 months.

Please make sure your site is related with the niche you're going to sell.
I guess.. they do check your PR, technorati ranks, alexa ranks , traffics etc.

Try using a proxy from UK or US. Create a fake address in UK or US but payout to your own Paypal off course

Debatable. I just noticed I have been getting 3 emails every time eBay sends out some partner update, then I realized I had 3 eBay partner accounts beinf forwarded to one email address. I must have signed up again when I was drunk because I don't remember doing it. At any rate, I don't have any sites that would make any sense to advertise on.

where are you from in europe? i did hear about difficulties with eastern europe countries..

I'm from central Europe, European Union and they didn't ask for a website input when I tried to register, just personal data and I received an email few moments after that saying I didn't get accepted. Probably they accepts few countries only.
