Not able to send messages on skype

All of sudden I am not able to send messages on skype. Can receive messages though. How to fix this ?

Not using Skype sounds like a blessing to me but there could be a lot of different things causing this. My first suggestion would be to try reinstalling it.
 
Skype lite or desktop?
 
Two things :

If you're using Skype for anything spammy, this will happen and has happened to me years ago. I'd suggest reinstalling, but if the problem persists send a message to their support. They get back to you reasonably fast.
 
did you change your pc setting or any antivirus? if not then reinstall it.

It has come default with windows 10. I do not see an option to uninstall it.

I have not used for spam.

Use Iobit Uninstaller software for uninstall of windows skype than download the latest version of skype and install.
Hope it will work.
