Not able to follow since 2 days

Hi to everyone - I found this forum while seachring for a solution for my IG problem. I'm running a small fitness related account with about 7k followers. I had a rapid growth during the last 2 months using crowdfire from about 1,3k. I have a steady follower/like ration of about 10-15% on each picture and in average about 20-30 comments.

Since sunday I'm not able to follow any user. I got the pop up from instagram that I'm temporarly not able to follow new user. It is the first time I got a messgae like this. On monday it worked again, I was able to follow like 10 accounts, then it was not working again.

Today I read something about that IG is counting the not accepted request as followings so I might have hit the 7,5k followings without knowing (I actually follow 320 people). I unfollowed a few accounts and was able to follow again, but I just followed 2 people, not brave enough to test it

So whats the most supposable reason for my problem in you eyes? And any sugestions how to move on?

I also read the first time about FL and Instagrees in this forum today. Are they commandable?

Ok - problem found. Got a limit at 360 persons I can follow. Problem should definitely that I have to many outstanding request if this counts to your normals follows. Any tool with which I can delete them?

If you really followed 7140 private profiles, then you're out of luck. There is no tool to delete them atm.
The only way of "deleting" them is taking back your follow request, which can only be done if you still know whom you have followed.

Oh dear I deleted some I remembered, it did not help... Don't know what to do. If it goes on like this I probably have to get a new account

is there any way of contactinf the instagram support? I'm a bit desperate...

and tell them what exactly? That you've mass followed private users to gain followers?

I think a lot of users have smth to say to support , but AFAIK they answer only to those who had technical problems (seems Facebook Inc. have no goals to develop support team for Instagram)
