North Korea says a lot of things.... keep in mind its a virtually bankrupt country, and wars cost money!

"The North Korean government issued a warning to mariners to avoid an area in the Sea of Japan at certain times between June 24 and July 9 because of a "military firing exercise," according to a U.S. military communication about the warning provided to CNN."
Japan is reporting N. Korea intends on firing a missile at Hawaii on July 4.
Though on the same article on CNN the US denies any information to that extent.

I had read that N Korea was threatening to test fire some rockets in the direction of Hawaii on July 4th.
For those that are looking to vacation there, the prices on that weekend will probably be very cheap.

All it would take is 1 nuke detonated in the atmosphere above the US and everyone on this site would be fucked. The EMP would fry everything electronic which would mean no water, no power and no craigslist. You could literally do this with a scud missile land off a freight boat 7 miles out in international water.

Don't overlook the fact that NK has many chemical weapons at its disposal. They never signed the chemical weapons convention. South Korea also doesn't deploy its troops with many defenses against chemical weapons. With a rogue nation like NK, who knows what else they have up their sleeves.
