Like the world needs another war, I especially think it's silly if Americans are demanding intervention, when they have (and the rest of us, the world) has a serious economic situation to attend to. The people here are also hilarious, but "nukes". There will be no nukes, there never were talks of any nukes. And in theory, it doesn't matter which "inferior" or "superior" country launches a nuke, the effects are equally devastating and sufficient, people should get a clue before rabidly calling for a nuclear war. Get back to work man.

The bottom line is if they start throwing around nukes, they're gonna get fucked up.
It's like this, if some nutjob starts killing your neighbors, you're gonna do something about it, right? Because even if you hate your neighbors, that nutjob might come to your house next.

Just starve them and let the hungry mob overturn the gov. Now NK military is still loyal as they are stomach full (only the civilian is hungry). If they are hungry too, I doubt there still so loyal.

I should have said - the people who speak out...I never see anybody speaking out in forums - I LOVE THE USA...only the people who want to trash this great country speak out.
It's funny because I'm listening to a song called Wish I Were American...I hate how those 15 year old kids looking for attention basically don't know any other American people besides George Bush (for example), so they just make the assumption that all Americans are like George Bush. That's where I see the most trashing at.

Sure is a lot of misinformation being thrown around in here....
1) North Korea is not launching a nuke (wtf?).
2) The US has already publicly stated they will not shoot it down (unless its going to land in US territory).
3) North Korea has said that ANYONE shooting down their missile is an act of war, it didn't name just Japan.

For some reason I have a feeling there is going to be a problem with the launch and for whatever reason, the missile (or whatever it is) won't even leave the ground. This will be interesting though, whatever happens.

The US hasn't test a nuke since 1992! The nuclear powers of the world agreed to not test them.
As far a NK launching a nuke, its not happening. They are a poor country with limited resources. They can't afford to lose one nuke just for an attack. Trust me, if they launch nukes, they will go for broke, launching everything they have. The world knows what the US response would be anyway. This launch is about intimidation, that is all.
Splitting the atom was the best/worst thing to happen to mankind.

and because of this lack of education (willfull or neglect) of educating there young generation, the kids strap bombs to themselves and blow up innocent civilians as well as their innocent selves, ignorance is not a plea.
as far as NK, there nukes couldnt reach u.s. soil. maybe hawaii but thats about it.

Its called national interest. We have the right to build anything we want. So does any other country. If another country thats an enemy of the U.S.A decides to build a nuke. Its in OUR interest to stop it.
I don't care if its russia, america, china, etc. ALL countries act this way because their countries security comes first above all else. Not alliances, policy, or so called UN law.
