Noobish backlink question

Hey guys

Sorry for the noobish question , In regards to backlinks to get your page to a good spot in google.Will back links with just my domainname.com in them effect the position of my pages link domainname.com/pages/pagehere.html or is it only the backlinks i post with the full page adress effect the page ?

Links to your main domain will increase your site authority and therefore also increase your site's pages authority yes.
