Ok guys I have a question and its probably going to win noob of the year award but if I am ranking on goolge for some long tail keywords for one particular blog post, how can I take over other long tail keywords without having to change the post headlines. I have added them as tags but that dosent seem to work much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can just create more content for the other keywords and optomize it for them. Also make anchor text links in the other long tail keywords. Just cause you rank for one keyword doesnt mean you cant rank for others.

I figured that was what to do but my blog is about home business now it is starting to be a cluster of CPA offers with articles lol. Thats why I was trying to just be able to take over other long tail keywords with one post

Rewrite the post in this case... Make the post more than 1500 words with proper headings and paragraphs which will point to smaller articles in your blog.

Like Vivalafeva said make many articles and the article which is ranking well should point to smaller articles :)
