Noob setting off into niche blog

After hours of research I've finally found a niche that I want to target for my blog however where I'm a noob I just need answers to a few tiny questions.

Im going to be buying high seo articles that are aiming to have my keywords with a density of somewhere between 0.5 and 1%. I've also got scrape box to harvest some urls in order for me to comment on some blogs in order to get my back links up.

the thing that I needed help with is, will I be over doing it if I then underwent a Pinterest journey on the same blog, through posting pictures of my niche. Let's say my niche was classic cars for example, I'd buy seo articles to target the keywords then have some kind of blog posting pictures of classic cars and pinning them to Pinterest? I've read on here something about over doing the seo?

Basically I need advise on leaving the articles to do their thing OR go down the Pinterest route as well?

p.s sorry if this is in the wrong forum, as you can probably tell I'm a complete noob and this is my first journey :)

As a newbie you should forget about SEO. It's time consuming, it's unpredictable, there's no guaranteed result and you could spend months of your time and lots of money on it and get nowhere.

Even if you do see some results Google can take that away at any time.

Instead focus on driving direct traffic which you have more control over. Become a good contributor on relevant niche forums that allow clickable signatures - be helpful, share useful content, give advice and people will click your sig to find out more about you.

Blog comment on relevant forums to network with others in your niche and their readers. Provide really good replies and not generic "good post" nonsense. Where relevant drop links (don't over do it) to similar or opposing articles on your site that the blogger and their audience might want to check out and watch the traffic flow. To be one of the first to comment add the blog to an RSS feed and check daily.

Build up your own social media profiles and get involved in big groups and hubs that already exist in your niche. Occasionally share your content with the group where it will be useful.

Find groups on Reddit within the niche and contribute there most allow you to share your content.

Contact bloggers in your niche and see which ones allow guest posts. Great way to build authority and 'steal' their readers. Bloggers are often crying out for high quality content from others. You get the benefit of their traffic.

Start with these methods to begin with and you can easily build up good traffic numbers in short periods of time.

Thanks for the reply.. I only chose the niche because it was high cpc and low competition so that's why I brought scrapebox to harvest links and then comment on blogs to generate back links. after watching tutorials online I've seen that it can be done and works right?

I'm going to do what you said and give the best comments on the more relevant blogs as much as possible. I've only came into the niche a few days ago so I guess more reading is needed. Another thing is, I was thinking of setting up a Facebook page that targets my niche, I've had a look and there is one that posts images but the last post was around sept and they have 22k likes. So surely there's a chance to get in that gap and take advantage of their laziness ;)

a Pinterest campaign would not be overkill, in fact add more networks like twitter too. If you're looking to build a quality site then the seo-ed articles are a good idea, but if you want to get quick traffic then social marketing is the way to go.

thanks seocrab, yeah i want to target a micro niche so i want the automated traffic from ranking in google to drive my adsense. So that's the reason for the seo-ed articles. But now i know a little social traffic will do no harm i'll start out my journey.

If the FB group will be useful to you see if you can buy it or sponsor it if they aren't putting it to use.

There's so many FB pages and groups with huge followers that the owners have lost interest in. They'd likely sell it to you for dirt cheap if they aren't using it or making any money from it.
 
it sounds like your have done a lot of research and have some good ideas.

I agree that pinterest, twitter, reddit, etc would help as well.

When it comes to driving traffic nothing is overkill. Get targeted traffic at your site as quick as you can and get testing and optimizing everything.

Drive traffic and work on your conversions along the way.
 
Social Media is best thing .

Always go with White Hat SEO and high PR link building. it will helps to stay top of google for long time.
