Noob (?) Question

So folks, I've never taken part in link building, etc. I have an authority site that's doing ok, but there's been no growth lately. I think it is time that I start building links. Needless to say, I've never bought from any link building services here on BHW. There are services offering virtually the same stuff for $5 and $500... so I'm really confused what I should go with.

Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

I would get in touch with BigBuddy here and use his servers. I would also do a press release. That should help get you going again

How do you define an authority site?
If you have an authority site, then it should be getting links organically.
If you are attempting to build an authority site then your content should be great, and you should be looking to get links from other authority sites.

First learn link building and try doing it yourself especially if you are on a budget. Earn some money and then you can start outsourcing link building to save your time for better things.

So I have this site which doesn't have insane traffic but decent enough conversions, makes me ~$100/day. Why I call it an 'authority' site is because it is the most popular site in its niche.

But here's the problem: a major part of the income is being reinvested in another project. So I want to start slow with buying links. Hope this clears things a bit.

You should maybe look into some sort of link diversity packages. Since site is already doing good no need for PBN in my opinion.

I have used The SEO usrs service its called Razors speed rank strategy. It got me pretty good results and really gave me diversified links which are essential. If you got more questions you can also PM me.

Not taking part in linkbuilding won't help your rankings. If you are unsure of a service, use it on a less important domain and do your tests. You will have an idea on what works and what does over time.
