Noob Question

Hey guys,

I have a question that I can't figure out and I'm sure it's fairly simple. I've made a few graphic in photoshop and I want to put them in my wordpress website. However I only know how to put the graphics in as jpg or png. The thing is I want the text inside the image to be html, so you can highlight it with your mouse inside the graphic. How would I achieve this? Any help would be appreciated, even if you can link me to a tutorial.

What part of the page is it? The header? If you know HTML and CSS, you can set a background-image property on the element to add your image, then just use normal text inside the element
