harvesting urls is a means to amass large files of custom scraped urls
mostly tend to be used for adverting on , finding new niches

The name stands for itself. Basically, you harvest/gather thousands of URLs from a particular website or from a particular keyword. It serves different purpose from finding competitors, for blog commenting, etc.
