Noob Question - What CMS should I use?

Currently I have a custom CMS website I've had built, where people buy the product file, which is instantly e-mailed to them. However, the php coding is an absolute frankstein experiment of a website, from what I've been told by the several coders I've hired. I can't even add new tabs/sections to the site without hiring someone. The custom CMS sucks ass.

My question:

If I wanted to start a new site, is there a CMS out there that allows me to upload the files and product pictures and sell the products/files that are immediately e-mailed/available for download upon Paypal payment. What's the ideal solution/provider/CMS that would allow me the convenience of adding pages and clean url structures myself without the costly hassle of having to hire someone for every little thing?

The easiest CMS would be Wordpress and for themes take a look at themeforest

The only thing easy about Wordpress is the 1-click install from your Cpanel. Installing themes and plugins is easy until they start disagreeing with each other. After that it's all downhill unless you're a skilled wordpress designer.

For an established site you need professional software that already works. The cost is the same as you would pay for good hosting every month. I don't think I can post any links here so you can message me if you're interested.

wordpress would be simple enough for you. I just use a custom cms i wrote a long time ago. But in your case I vote wordpress.

I would recommend wordpress, because it is really simple to setup and configure.
For your special needs like selling products you can look for a plugin that fits your needs.
