I want to ask if you are making backlinks and you want to rank not your main keyword but longtail other similar keywords you need to use that keyword in anchor text?

2: Does that long tail keyword have to be in article if you want to rank on google?

Try to diversify the keywords all the time, Don't use the main keyword 100% it will affect your ranking, Just use 25-30% of your main keyword. Others must be secondary and long tail keywords which will help you in SERP improvement.
 
But my site is multiniche One article per niche so there are not a lot of possibility to use a lot of keywords..

You should have to, Else you may get caught from the eyes of google easily. diversifying your keywords is very important.
 
Yes using the keywords you want to rank for as anchor text is going to help you rank for those phrases. It's impossible to give exact advice regarding %'s, because you can find examples of everything working in the serps. Looking at what %'s your competition used is a good starting point. You can use ahrefs for this.

You can rank keywords without having them in your article!
 
To rank better for long tail keywords I make use of tagging blog posts with well-researched tags and interlinking pages. I've been seeing good results with this. Also, if you want good tag ideas look the top lenses on Squidoo related to your niche and use the tags that they have on the lens on your posts on your site. This has worked well for me so far.

Thou % is tough to handle when we work on serp, we have to take care of diversifying the keywords. And i agree than we can rank it without having the keywords in the article point. Thanked.
 
Yes, your longtail keyword that you are trying to rank should also be included within your article.
 
Ofcourse whatever anchor/keyword you wanna rank that should in article or backlinked to your site.
 
Adding a huge number of backlinks is not an indicator that you can rank, it just simply works as your referrals and links that points to your site. On the other hand, long tail keywords must be used with the appropriate link URL and must be visible as normal keywords in your site content, article and Meta description.​
 
For me yes,
By using your keywords and long tail keyword it has many benefits.
1. Decrease Keyword Density
2. Have smaller possibilities to get marked as Spam by Google.
3. Rank your site in more than 1 Keyword.
