Noob question - How to create quality backlinks?

Create a multipage blogger blog in your niche with at least 3 pages of high-quality unique content plus the standard about, contact us etc. Created from an account and IP google hasn't associated with your money site. Then simply put your money site link in there.
Blog comment backlinks are amoung the lowest quality backlinks out there. They have their uses but when google knows you can have thousands of them with the click of a button they aren't too useful.
For an easier but slightly lower quality set of backlinks find a forum related to your niche and make enough posts on there so you can put a link to your site in your signature and on your profile. Then every post you make will become a backlink from an established site. Ones which will pass actual traffic as well as link juice.
