noob question about re-directing/trademarks

I have thought about buying a couple domains recently, but am a bit worried because of possible legal issues. I'm wondering can you avoid trademark issues/possible legal trouble when you have a domain that has for example youtube right in it by re-directing it to another website that does not have youtube in the domain? Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question haha.
