Noob Question about Proxies

Im just learning about proxies ive been trying to read everything on this forum about proxies and im learning alot. but i have Some question ive purchase a sound cloud bot and a datpiff bot from smbots. and i was wondering what proxies work best with these bots? L1 L2 L3? any specific ports i should look out for? and what do these bots do? I know there used to get plays and downloads so does that mean they just drive traffic to the link? if so does that mean i can use any type of proxies and i dont have to be anonymous>

Level 1 = Elite
Level 2 = Anonymous
Level 3 = Transparent

At minimum you want to be using anonymous. Ports don't really matter at all, but you do want to make sure you are using multiple IP ranges to avoid mass bans.

Level 1 L1 [High Anonymous]: A proxy that does not identify itself as a proxy to site or reveal your IP-address
Level 2 L2 [Anonymous]: Identifies itself as a proxy to site you visit but still hides your IP-address.
Level 3 L3 [Transparent]: These proxies are leaking your IP-address via proxy headers.
SOCKS 4, 5 and 4/5 proxies are always high anonymous.

Generally speaking level 1 proxies (such as those sold by most proxy providers on BHW) work the best because they do not reveal your real IP and they do not label themselves are proxies. The proxy ports don't matter as long as you can connect to it.
Proxies are not just for anonymity-- they also allow you to have different "identities" so that activities under each identity is separate. If you're not sure whether you need proxies or not, you probably don't. My recommendation is to simply use your own IP (or a public proxy) until you have the need.
