Hi have wordpress multisite. If one of my sites gets a google penalty, will it also penalize the other sites on my wordpress multisite or hosting IP address?

are your blogs on subdomains or in folders? coz that makes a lot of difference.. if they are on subdomains, only the subdomain will be penalized in most cases, however in certain cases you might get the whole domain penalized.. if they are on folders, then if one bites the dust, the whole domain goes with it..

Depends on the server as well. If G can identify it as a small time server then it's possible they will look into it. If it's attached to say a large SHARED hosting network you should be able to escape. This only if you have private registration

Depends on the scenario, but ordinarily I would say no- I would imagine google penalises by domain / URL rather than searching for all sites on that ip.
think of shared hosting - you share an ip with thousands of other sites.
