Hi all!

I work in IT as a systems/network admin. I do a bit of web/application programing and maintain and have setup a few wordpress sites in my day job. Last year I set up a wordpress amazon affiliate site as test. I didnt put a whole lot of work into it, maybe a total of 20 hours. I let the Domain Name lapse and didnt renew it as this was a blind test and i didnt really do any seo/sem research before selecting the domain name and setting up the site. I just let it go and didnt check into it all untill the year was up. I pleased to find out that i made $280 for the work i had put into it. My question is, am I on the right path? I am assuming so? Also, as an experienced IT professional would there be methods or other pursuits more worthwhile for me?

Hellow there! I love the idea for this guide/thread and I pretty much enjoy reading everything I see on BHW forums because people here actually try to learn something and help eachother to achieve their goals. Im a total newbie, but I`ve set myself a first goal and I want to achive it.
So lets get back on topic. I need a guide whom I can ask my questions because there are many things I dont yet understand. I started following an old journey that I think still works. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Hey there. You cannot use Aweber to send emails to people who haven't opted to give you their mails. In other words you cannot import your list of emails to Aweber and even if you do they will ban you. I recommend you to try alternative mailiing methods(You can search this forum to find it). You can directly send them to the clickbank landing page if it is good enough. Also checkout meatheads easy 100$/day method under making money section.

How did you send your traffic to the product page? Do you have a review website?

Can we revive it as the request is still valid.

There are noobs (one of them, btw)
Plenty of people don't know stuff
Plenty of people are willing to help

For example me. I want to promote my website/offer. There is plenty of software, experts, solutions. I am willing to pay a fair price for any of it.
Yet, I am not an online marketing specialist and have countless activities to perform during the day. So I do not want to do it and looking to find someone trustworthy to do it for me (with results).
Then the questions come to this:
- Are there marketers/specialist willing to work on a performance-based model?
- Does marketers/specialist take ownership of the mission they are given?

Hey ,

The performance you mean conversions as clients or ranking increase for your website keywords ?

No one can take your onwership just because they are carrying out a task to improvise your business, as you pay them for their service. If thats your concern, dont work with as a JV instead hire people for there services. You will remain the onwer.

When I mention ownership, I am talking about values. Someone invested based on their professional ethics.
Why you might ask?
I have seen both, the right behavior and the worst in the online marketing field. Yet, I have seen more bad then good.

All that to say, and maybe you know that:
- Have you seen marketers, go out of their way for their customers (No BS), make them money and get rewarded at a fair price?
- If yes, please share their name or handle :)

Yes, definitely! You can find great services here on BHW and elsewhere on the Internet. Just make sure you do your research and maybe ask people around. Fake reviews are a huge thing in the business.

I guess you need a service like Customer reach kindof ones.

As you are more interested in the customer delivery. You can PM me your website and I will further analyze it as see what can be done to improvise it.
