Hi I just recently started to get into the marketing business.

My first step, I purchased Hostgator webhosting for $7.96 a month.

I'm not really sure what WordPress is or how I can use it to generate money so if you can give me some advice that would be great.

I was told to order BlackHat Wordpress by Kontent Revolution, as they will start a site up for me, so if you can explain that.. thx!

If theres any guides out there for noobies like me , please share , im also willing to pay for them.

Any other advice would be great! thank you so much!

Fantastico is the same as "1-click install". It just makes the installation process of WP easier and faster.

Just use 1 click install to get WP working, play around and set your site up. All the information you need to configure your WP site, promote it and monetise it is on this forum somewhere, search for it.

from my experience you'll figure out WP quickly. what was more important to me was figuring out how to get keyword .com domains that would rank high quickly.

of course the other missing piece is the CPA networks.

what worked for me was buying a cheap generic site and using that site to get cpa approval.

wordpress is the simplest part of the game plan. :)

Speaking as someone who has to use wordpress for work I think this can either go one of two ways.

    1) You already know HTML, remember the days before the web when you'd dial up to BBS', or you're a perfectionist who wants every blog post looking nice:

You're going to hate the editor! And 90% of the time when you have a problem with it you'll discover via google that its just a problem they know about, but noone mentions... (Kinda like how Imovie 09 on the Mac exports video with NO FREAKING SOUND but all the Mac faggots will tell you thats not a problem because all you have to do is extract all th sound whilst editing, load it into Itunes, export the film, then add the sound back on.... not that I'm bitter that it wasted about 4 hours of my life!)

    2) you're just starting out, think it doesnt matter really what it looks like because people come to a blog for the information not the looks, or looking for a complete, easily configurable system

You're going to enjoy it, but hate the editor :D

Oh and under NO CIRCUMSTANCE must you EVER BE TEMPTED TO USE WORD 2007!!!!!
You'll discover 250 lines of gibberish code are added to whatever you import, very annoying lol

it is so easy to start up a blog with wordpress 3.1 which is the latest version. It have lot of plug in that will help you to build your blog and maintain it. I think the hosting provider do have video of tutorial that will help you or you also can go for youtube to search it out.

First thing's first, if you want to have success with your site, it may be vital for you to learn the basics of Keyword Research as well as On Page SEO. If you don't learn these things and expect to do well in the search engines, all your effort could end up a waste and it could amount to having a broken pencil with no pencil sharpener: Pointless
    (bad pun:pat:)

Bad humor aside, don't put your site's success in the hands of others and learn the vital things yourself and test test test! 9 times out of 10 you will fail on the first try, but you learn so much more from failures than from success so don't give up and tweak until you hit the sweet spot.

O yea and I can't provide links since my post count is too low but if you need some good tutorials for keyword research and SEO, search for IamNRE in the search box. He even includes pics to guide you through each step so its worth checking out if you have no idea what you are doing.

Hope this helps, and hope you have your first $1 day, because from there all you need to do is scale and automate :D

Best advice once you get your blog going is to stick to what you're doing. If it don't work, make it work. Don't give up if you don't get volumes of traffic in your first few months.
