Noob Best Practices

I am totally new to IM and this forum, so I am trying to soak up as much as possible. The information on here is a little overwhelming... but knowledge comes with time and application, so I'm not too concerned about that.

I was wondering what are some of the basic practices a total nob should follow:
for example- using proxies- when and why
protecting accounts- methods and best ways to be banned/keep from being banned/be banned
Obvious problem areas (that beginners don't think about)
That kind of thing...

I really want to accelerate my learning curve, so any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Using Proxies --> if u use only your ip for automated stuff like Scrapebox, google will detect that and ban your ip. Proxies protect your ip by giving google alternative ips. U can get free proxies of the internet but most of them are slow or are already banned by google. I recommend paid proxies, i personally use squid proxies for my scrapebox(SB) etc.

You will find that no matter how much you read you will never understand anything. You will see many threads where very respected members of the forum completely disagree on things and will fight to the death over their opinions.

Noone completely understands google so even very sucsessful respected members of the forum will have very different experiences with alot of techniques.

The only way you will learn is by testing things yourself. 1 small difference that you don't even realise in your work flow could give you a very different result than someone else that appears to be doing the same thing.

Seems like the only thing people can mostly agree on is having good usefull content and as much quality links as you can get are going to help you.Slow and steady seems to be the longest lasting results.

Black hat techniques are hit and miss for differnet people, could be lack of experience, lack of knowledge on how to use tools effectively.Seems like there are so many variables that most people experience different results. You will have to test and see what works best for you and your work flow.
