Noob at ranking

Ranking for me is total ass.

I bought a bunch of good backlinks, changed my main keywords and crap, low competition keywords and waited a couple weeks, and nothing, I don't know how much to spend on backlinks, I spent $20 on this bundle that I found on the SEO Packages on BHW. Nothing happened so far, Google Webmaster tools hasn't even registered the backlinks I bought, neither has Moz. omgomgomgineedhelp

Also I'm looking into Clickbank crap by making youtube videos and stuff, that's also something I'll need help with by ranking, and it's pretty much ass.

RANKING IS ASS HELP ME.

Step One: Learn SEO
Step Two: Do not pay for links until you master step one.
Step Three: Create a reliable process.
Step Four: $20 link package is never going to be top notch.
Step Five: Realize to make money, you need to spend money.

What are you using to check keyword competition? Are you checking with google keyword planner because that shit doesn't work.

Plus you spent 20 bucks and you think you are going to instantly rank? Dude SEO is a patient mans game, I had to learn this the hard way. Sit back relax and just keep building links and make sure they are quality links. Also make sure your content is quality as well.

There are so many factors that play into ranking a site or page, you have to learn about SEO and how to really do it.

And please for gods sake don't spend money unless you know what you are doing

You're not starting at the beginning. Don't even look into google webmaster tools or moz thingie checking your site.

First, make sure your onpage is tight: site is fast, has rich titles and headings, pages are properly interlinked. Do keyword research, split keywords per pages, don't make your pages compete with each other.

Write or buy good content. Investing in content at an early stage > investing into links. Decent content ranks for longtails without links.

Start building links manually. Just make a page for your "brand" on all the popular locations. Going through Alexa's top 1000 sites and dropping profiles is your key to a great start.

Once that all is done (2-3 months) you'll have something to work with. Take it from there and only THEN buy any links.

It's OK to start over many times, just don't get stuck in fragmented actions. Understand your picture.

To rank on YouTube; all you need is more view, likes and subscribes to your channel.
To rank on Google; you need to read a bunch on threads on BHW!

Spending money for backlinks are not a right way some times. You need to know basic about SEO, Link Building, Authority Making and others. Then you can really realized that which will be great for purchasing.
