Noob Adsense Journey

Hello guys, i just remembered i have an 8yr old google adsense account i used to earn money with. I was diverting traffic from facebook contests to a "real estate" blog. I checked it and i have 68E in the account waiting to come into my wallet.

The niche:
Dont really know how to explain this. Best example would be "Firefighter maths questions"

Competition:


On google all the webistes in this niche from front page are made 100% for google adsense. Few of them are spammy, on wordpress outdated themes,etc

What I have done till now
Registered domain&host for 2 years
Onsite optimisation for wordpress
1.8k article on the homepage

Current status
0 visitors/day ( today i modified the robots.txt to allow crawlers)

Upcoming plans
Write more articles
Get some backlinks ( if you have any suggestions they are all welcome)
Promote the website on facebook groups ( people are really searching for this thing )

Good luck on your venture. Sounds like you've found a really good niche to be honest. Firefighter maths questions isn't the sort of thing which any old "web designer" or "SEO expert" can just knock up a site for and replicate, I doubt it's even an industry which most SEO folk even consider, so it could be a nice long term income if done right

I have a client who gets a 4 figure annual sponsorship for an Excel spreadsheet which he offers for free online through his website. A larger company basically pays him an annual fee just to put their logo on his spreadsheet. It's not a huge amount of money, but my client never needs to update his spreadsheet since the maths never changes, so year after year he just keeps banking money for doing nothing.
