Noncompliant collections agency

Someone I know worked collections... She was pregnant and it didn't last more than 2 days. She's been trying to get her check for a month now and they are dicking her around. Yes it's only 2 days worth but she worked those days with no problem.

This company is very non compliant. They work super shadily.... What is her options. She doesn't really want to sue or anything she just wants her check. What can she do???

I think it's obvious. Sue them for unpaid wages and report them to the state if you live in the US.

Court for 2 days unpaid wages? What would reporting them do? She doesn't really want to do anything if she can get her check... But in my opinion they are scum and need to be shut down. The employer literally doesn't care if the workers are on their phones... While around sensitive info. They literally lie to customers to get payments (shady point calling techniques)... If you think collections is scummy... They are the scum of the scum.... Anyways I'll talk to her... It's only 130$ but she really needs the money...
