NON-US Citizen Registering a .US domain

I registed a .us domain an am not a US citizen and have no business in US. The whois info was done with fake US details. Only the email was real incase anyone wants to contact me for it. I plan on using the domain for a project for the next 13 months and probably sell it off afte

The problem is that I found some info online that the domain will get seized soon as am not a US citizen. So is there anyway I can stay safe from that?

I used to buy .us domains all the time and none of them ever got seized. I didn't even have US address attached to it.

I guess it depends how much traffic you get, so you don't get "noticed". My domains were all low traffic but were blackhat and yet none got seized.
 
i used to buy .us domains with european addresses from namecheap. no problem
 
If the site gets big enough for you to have to validate the account, you'll most likely have the funds to figure it out.
