Non TLD domains for PBN

Do non top-level domains work great for a PBN.
For example I can get a domain:
PR:4
BL: 16,000 (Non Spammed)
Clean Anchor Text
CF/TF: 10/15

For like $60

But the domains are .de .be .ch .at
Are they worth it?

Firstly, .de .be etc ARE top-level domains.

But they are country specific domains. So you might have problems ranking in US for example.

But they still do work right? As I have in plan to rank on noncompetitive niches. Like long tail keywords etc...
 
As to ranking, it does not matter as he wants to use them in a PBN, I would worry about the language and niche relevancy.
Some country specific domains, like .de require for registering them a handle (real person) from Germany, so you can't just register them...

http://forum.gsa-online.de/ this forum is great example that there can be site on country specific TLD with English content. I'd grab these domains, they will pass the SEO value to your moneysites for sure.
 
Depends on what country are you targeting. If you have for example a .com targeting US and you have backlinks from .de .be .ch .at or anything but .com, that's not gonna have the same effect as a .com majority. Plus it raises a red flag too. So it's not really recommended.
 
yes, they work like a charm.. No Issue for PBN
 
I don't think those domains will provide as much ranking power as .com domains if used in a PBN for ranking in the US but they are still going to help. So if you can't shell out more money for .com, .net, and .org domains, go ahead and purchase them. But make sure you diversify your link profile with backlinks from the com, net, and org tld domains.

I know that but a .com domain with those stats is surely worth more than $200. So my question is are these worth it?

And what about .info domains? Are they worth for PBN?

Ltd's from these countries are even more expensive because there are more .com/.net/.org domains with that kind of link juice. Believe me, I have first hand experience with this.

And OP, I'm 99.99% sure you don't have a genuine PR4 domain. Those TF stats simply do not correspond to a genuine PR4 domain.

They are. I've visited the register office here. Domains did had pretty good historic value but those domains are fairly old and already expired so their fresh value is somewhat low.

The register office has nothing to do with it.

I think you're not that familiar with the meaning fake PR. The domain probably acted as a 301 redirect during the last PR update. You might be able to find wether this is true by searching your domain in the Wayback archive.

Either that or the domain lost a lot of backlinks this year (hence the low TF). Either way, I personally wouldn't pay $60 for it (you can easily find domains like that for free with Xenu), but the price is pretty normal if you used an expired domains broker. Any chance you're using realtime.at?

The fact that they are country specific domain extensions doesn't matter, it could be of use to you regardless of that.

However, the example given above is almost certainly not a genuine PR4, looking at the CF and TF metrics. Those aren't anything special, and I wouldn't pay $60 for it to be honest.

Yes one site is realtime.at and the other one was a register office here dunno the name as it wasn't in English.

And also if you can please send me any detailed guide for Xenu or any other trusted domain brokers. I tried Xenu but all I found was PR0 sites :(.

I don't have a detailed guide, but I can tell you it's probably no suprise you didn't find any domains. The power of Xenu lies in the quantity of domains it's able to crawl. Only about 0.3-0.5% % of the domains it crawls are actually expired, and only a fraction of that are worth registering. For example, yesterday I crawled 700k domains and I only picked up 5 which were up to my standards.

The best set up for Xenu is crawling HUGE link directories. I don't know of any .ch, .at or .de's, but I'm sure you can find them with a simple google search. Some of them have more than a million URLs, so you just crawl the entire domain and export all links to Excel. There you isolate the "no such host" domains and run them through Godaddy Bulk Domain Availability Checker. When you've done that you load them in a bulk DA checker to make a quick shift. I always throw out everything under DA 20 and manually check the backlink profiles of the remaining domains.

This way it's very, very easy to pick up numerous domains which normally cost over $100 each. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. :)
