i want to rank some Japanese keywords, anyone who did non-English seo before?

are the services from the market place work for non-English keywords? anyone tried that?

Yes, they do work,
You should aim for a Japanese anchor text tho, especially if you're targeting specific pages/keywords,
if it's unacceptable, go with brand or naked

well, i am not a SEO pro, i just wander, if i got a lot of links with Japanese anchor text on ENGLISH sites, Google jp or Yahoo jp gonna buy that? if i were Google and Yahoo, i will think this guy is doing something i don't like

Yes I have done most languages SEO jobs such as

English
French
German
Russian
Ukranian
Bulgarian
Chinese
Japanese
Celtic
among others.

For example you really need a native Japanese or someone who can understand it well the language if not life going to be tough for you SEO wise for market place no idea but I would guess a few Japanese must exist on this website.

not the best idea if you're focusing on local SEO but they will have an impact for sure, focus on branding your place with them.

Yes there are many languages SEO available .. check in the marketplace you will get it...

Google have a bit racial bias
Japanese and chinese backlink are considered as spam unless
Your site language itself is japanese or chinese

To be honest, they don't use google as their search engine, so optimizing on Google is useless
Baidu is easy to spam unlike Google

Logically, yes, that's what almost everyone knows thought in this actually,
but the case is totally different and they do work pretty fine and does the job pretty well,
of course, they wouldn't make the same impact as much as a niche relevant website/PBN in the same language but still, they're much easier to get & available & you'll get high-quality ones picking the right sellers,
You could always reach some websites to get language/niche relevant guest posts links along with HQ web 2.0s for a better diversity

I tried in past to rank with seo service on Bhw. I found ones good there but you need to pickup the right ones..... for non english website the best if you have budget was: https://www.fiverr.com/ehab_makram/top-rank-your-site-using-my-analytically-tested-seo-formula . My website was local ( romania). That is just my experience so far.

That's why some Japanese sites use Latin keywords sometimes.
