Nofolow links going out from directory site

I have a directory site with 2000 listings, I did not add any outgoing links to all companies (only 15-20 of them) (there is an option to add no follow links inside listing page). Is it a good idea to add them or leave it as is without linking out ? What do you think?

I have seen pages with 1300 outbound links. I don't think it matters.

Directory is meant to have outbound links. That's commonsense for search engines. I don't think if anyone complains about it.

Nofollow links can be beneficial. I’ve done this on a local directory, and it helped build relationships with businesses.
