Nofollow Relevant VS Do-follow Irrelevant. Your pick?

If you could choose one, which of the two would you choose:
nofollow relevant backlink, OR a do-follow irrelevant?

For those that pick nofollow relevant:
Would your answer change if, say, do-follow irrelevant has a PR 2 or 3 and nofollow relevant link is PR N/A or 0?

The gap between nofollow and do follow links is getting very thin these days. It's all about relevancy now.

I have a great experience with nofollow links, but it must be relevant. On Fiverr there is a lot of sellers who offer do-follow links from irrelevant sites, but such links do not help much.

Since December last year the value of "follow" has been plumetting - soon having too many (when most sites no longer offer them and those that did are turning them off REAL fast) will just be a "self promotion" red flag for Google to guess you made the links yourself (and get the Penguin hammer down on "yo ass")
A few to build your own PR if that's important to you - but every day "rel = nofollow" is added to more and more sites outbounds and d0follow gets less and less relevant.
With Page rank running out in August 2015 I doubt any part of the current system for authority transfer is going to last much longer.
