Hi

Some are offering link services on ireport.cnn.com and buzzfeed. What's the point in terms of juice since the links are nofollow ?

Thx

Your website would get some additional authority but that's about it. Don't expect too much from this kind of links.

Personally this kind of no follow link from high DA / TF have always rank good, in fact 50% of my links are nofollow and yes it's work good! and even if it was not the case this links adds diversification, so good too, if you can have links from them dont hesitate

They offer value more in traffic and added trust/authority than actual traditional link juice. You'll get good link juice but that is NOT what you're paying for. Also consider if your site's topic could go viral.

I totally agree with these sentiments. These types of links are not a great JUICE target, but they are a legitimate opportunity to receive some bulk traffic - particularly if you have decent and potentially viral content. Some links are for SEO ... but when you think about it ... aren't those links ultimately ALSO in hopes of gaining customers or eyes on your site?

This type of link skips the SEO, and leads to often a temporary buy decent traffic boost. If you can get your content to gain popularity then the traffic boost can linger longer, but I don't think these are SEO value links in my opinion.

Lol, u can get a no-follow link from cnn or buzzfeed with a simple comment - so no need to pay for them, you just need 1-2 mins per each link and you can get them yourself.

No follow will not give you any link juice even though its a high authority site but you get some exposure with it

Thank you everybody for sharing your opinion!

more authority, and also it's an important ranking factor
make it for your money site it's okay
make also some cheap tier 2 backlinks for it

Google made do-follow and nofollow for a reason.

You wont get anything from a nofollow link.

It may give you some "authority" juice, but only IF they remain there.

I would go for it as long as the price is a one off and not too silly, there is little to no link juice but if your other links are all high quality it will show consistency and highlight your site as a nice authority.

Good for link diversity too, if a manual check is being done at Google they would have to ask themselves why would a spam site pay for a no follow link, might just work in your favor.

nofollow don't give nothing and also Google very good see that this is comments - it's also don't give nothing
