Any registrar offering whois protection with .us domains? What if I register it with fake information?

Actually, private whois is not permitted for .us domains, as of January 2006. This is a Department of Commerce policy and registrars who violate it are likely to lose their right to register .us names.

It happened to me too. I once i ranked well for one my .US site i thought of getting whois protection and was later declined. It makes sense why it is not aloud.
