No "Send message" button on my profile

You might have turned off from the setting. Look for Instagram Direct and Instagram Direct Requests. Make sure the check mark is next to From Everyone for Instagram Direct.

The situation got even more weird

Let's say the account that doesn't receive messages is MainAcc, and my other account that I can't write to is Acc1.

Acc1 does not follow MainAcc. When I go from Acc1 to MainAcc I don't have a send message button and I can't react to the report.
I tried to go to the mailbox on Acc1, click on start a new conversation and enter the nickname MainAcc there. The conversation displayed but with the message "You Can't Message This Account Unless They Follow You".

I googled about it, went to MainAcc settings, privacy settings > messages and set my followers and other instagram users to send me requests. In addition, I even set that anyone can add me to groups. I also went into the stories settings and set that everyone can reply to my stories.
These settings didn't help - in fact, they were similarly set before.

For the test, I first observed MainAcc from Acc1 and that didn't help either, but when I observed Acc1 from MainAcc I was able to send messages - as it was in the "You Can't Message This Account Unless They Follow You" message. The interesting thing is that when I unfollowed, I could still write messages from the Acc1 account.
I then checked from my other account, let's call it Acc2, and it didn't work from there.

This is a very strange situation for me. Maybe someone will be able to help me somehow?
