No sale for 10 days (again)

CB sales seem to fluctuate alot. I'll have a powerful 2 month run, and then run into a 2-3 week slow spell where I'll be lucky to break 5 sales a day. It's been in my mind that they could possibly be shaving, but they've been around forever .. so I doubt it. It could be there ancient tracking system, as I know that I've had sales, that customers have mailed me asking for advice on a product and when I goto confirm that they actually signed up.. I never got credited for the sales, despite them showing me proof of their purchase. It's happened numerous times, but not enough to make me make the switch yet. I'm always open to well converting alternatives.

Let me ask you a question: if customer sent you proof of purchase, how is possible that you didn't get the sale?

Good question. The customer sends me a screenshot of their confirmation email and/or the browser screen showing where their order went thru. But in the eyes of CB, there is nothing they can do about it. They say things along the lines of the website cookies not tracking the sale, and it being a problem on my end with my affiliate link. Which can't be the case, because I'll have other sales that same day which went thru with no issue. Even with the customer telling CB that they signed up using my link, CB says there's nothing they can do about it and that they don't transfer comissions. I've tackled the issue a few times, to no avail.. so I just left it alone. Tbh, I don't know how many sales I'm losing due to this.. but im getting enough to not make me switch as of right now. The product I'm selling and the traffic I'm sending to it does well, so until I find an alternative to that product I just suck it up. Charge it to the game.

I would advise taking this up with the vendor rather than CB - see what explanation they provide. Some possible explanations:

1. The customer 'shopped around' on other websites after clicking your affiliate link; in this case, the last affiliate will get the commission (fair).
2. The vendor is doing some shady crap - see https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/t...t-you-should-not-promote.791905/#post-8286155
3. The vendor is getting hacked. No one is immune to this, but if the vendor is not using https and a firewall service, then even an amateur can hack their website and funnel part of the commissions. You'll be shocked how many vendors still use http and no firewall.

Are they at it again? very bad sales here this week.
Also I've noticed some threads here about clickbank shaving have been closed.
This place is ending up like the warrior forum where you can't even ask about clickbank shaving without being banned

What's niche are you promote?

Same here had a weight loss related offer that was converting and sales went down significantly. I know this time of year sales are down but the numbers do not seem to make sense. 1 sale in a week. 75 bucks daily spend....Interested to hear other peoples opinions.

will be split testing a maxbounty offer to compare soon.

I have a site making 1000$ monthly for the past few months and then boom last month 0$, August was 31$.... something wrong with CB thing, so weird.

It could be a seasonal issue, some months in summer are slower than others!

Run special promos!
