Try rewriting your stronger hook or unique angle, and follow up personally with a short, catchy pitch- journalists get tons of emails, so your need to stand out fast.

worked at media for 5 years, when did you send your story? How many days have lapsed since your story? Did you get a confirmation from the journalist that they will find a space to air or print your story? what is the nature of your story? Is it Johnny Depp like expose or just basic real estate analysis?

You should try to rewrite the title to be more impressive, the content should be specific and not rambling.

Unless you find something interesting regarding this, this type of news will not pass. You can try to target Magazine/Lifestyle shows or Morning News journalist, your target audience are stay at home moms I believe. One look from the journalist regarding this report is on the maybe pile or trash bin news competition are rough even Events where Journalist are invited are 50/50 coverage. Dont know about this one champ, hope you good luck on your next story.
