No more Viral Apps, anyone noticed?

@xxpaigexx tough? I'd say impossible! Those lucky people who managed to keep a good database of fanpages and kept on updating them frequently are dominating the market.
Also the new timeline layout for pages comming in less than 17 days will put an end to all this.

The reason is simple.Facebook added a new feature to limit spamming of content. the new feature means when someone deletes content from their wall that you posted.facebook takes this to mean the person is unhappy with the app.so in otherwords. when you have an app going viral but 10% of people remove your post.facebook now restricts your app and you loste all virality immediately. it dies then and there.the end.

FB apps that do go viral are much more rare and getting patched or saturated too quickly. Learn all about what you can do with FB and their API, then be creative and try to figure out your own viral scripts. Not many successful ones are shared or last long right now so I doubt anyone is going to hand feed you a successful method right now.
If you absolutely cannot figure out your own unique ways, use some tools to find out what is the most popular trending posts on FB and then figure out which ones are CPA offers then copy that idea. It will take you some work though to search and track down what is going most viral on FB but it is possible.

Yeah I noticed it too. Probably because the FB Team got a lot of complaints from FB members and they finally realized other new Social Media sites are being launched like Google+ so they might be afraid to lose FB in the long run.

Facebook get strict about these type of viral application as it gets lots of complaints about them.

rofl..new feature? facebook has had that forever
99.9% of app deletions and restrictions have nothing to do with user feedback, but things like too many API calls, or making the aps on bad IPs and stuff like that

You are talking about something different. Essence is correct and he is referring to internal FB traffic. They have been cracking down on and making it hard to get viral traffic due to the new features that have been implemented fairly recently. Mainly with pages and account traffic.
What you are referring to is true as well, pretty much since tinie/ineo or any other successful "tagging" apps were popular there has been extra precaution on FBs part making it more difficult to go viral. That is why many BH marketers started rotating apps/urls like crazy, and it takes a lot more work now.
Neither of you are wrong, but you are talking about different aspects of FB marketing.

There still are, it depends on which type of apps xou exactly mean..those blackhat ones providing almost zero value or the white hat ones - for instance "find out how aand when u will die" etc
The latter ones are still viral but on the other hand there are lots of opportunities..if you dont see much of them appz why not take the initiative and set some up for yourself amd start banking?
Btw i for myself know ppl going viral like craz some are on this forum as well but i wont mention names here hehe
