Well according to the Cutts bloke...

Panda now part of the main algo and that is what these imminent updates will be about implementing.

On the plus side we shouldn't have to wait an age now to see if a change has had a positive impact..

Last night at SMX West, Google's Matt Cutts announced that the Panda algorithm will be more of a rolling update, as opposed to what it has been as a manually pushed out update.

Cutts said the update will be significant and one of the most talked about Google algorithm updates this year. Which would make that two years running. prepare for next updates...
 
Hmm.

If this plays out the way it sounds like it will play out, I think that the temporary benefits that come from spamming tons of links will be even less temporary than they currently are.

I'm happy for the change though, I'm 100% into making sites with longevity to them and if you can see what the long-term results of your actions will be in shorter wait-increments, that's awesome.

He was referring to a Penguin update....

If you recall generally.. Panda = Onpage and Quality.. Penguin = Linking Structure

In my opinion this will be the priority of G in the future.
Less spammy links better ranking.
 
yeah, their top priority now is fighting spam as it really dominated their system...
 
i just visit matt cutts twitter page, but i did not see anything regarding any upcoming updates which will be big.
 
google made me hate pandas and penguins -.- poor lil creatures :(
 
the guy that posted that blog looks eerily similar to cutts. Maybe his evil twin with a mustache?
 
And if Matt will realize that he didn't get the result he was looking and waiting from Panda, he will bring Pantera Update next year :))

Ohh, i'm jealous about sweet years on BHW IM World ...
