Minimum wage slavery ? When capitalists are quite well aware of poverty & desperation of so many people, there is in reality a BELOW minimum wage slavery going on.
It is sad, but it is so.

Yes I agree. Indeed, I am quite fortunate that I was born in a country with a decent minimum wage. I'm not really expecting online activities to become an income source for me. I just need to cover small expenses while studying for the time being.

The worst part about seeing the corporations in the US raise their wages is that they're years behind in doing so. They're not even keeping up with inflation.
Given that information though, an employee should always be able negotiate his or her own salary. I don't mean to come in and demand $100k/year, but a reasonable amount close to what the company is already offering. It is also your own responsibility to ensure that you're skilled enough to get a salaried job that will accommodate the lifestyle you're accustomed to.

So what is the plan to get rich?
don't know so far. going to try a few things. potentially looking at creating social media 'brands' fitting into some niches and selling merchandise. might try something using cpa idk. That's why I joined the forum: to learn and discuss ideas. If you have any solutions then let me know please. I have a job so few $100 investment into project isn't out of the question.
