No more im for me - all forex

I own a trading company. I also do IM. Which do I earn more from? IM. True story.

When we would have a new kid come into the business, I would always tell them... Your about to learn stuff about yourself that you never new.

If you want to make a living trading, hire a mentor. Someone that has been at it for 20 years and has the goods.

Fernando, that series 56 is a real bitch.

Well, I've been thinking of switching back to sports trading, but I doubt I could live doing the same thing everyday. I need the IM thrill, if you know what I mean :)

lmao forex? see the feeling that you had when google kicked you in the nuts? well you've got it all to come with forex my friend ;)

So there could be a blackhat method for increasing the value by making more demand for it?

I've been into forex since 2009. And I've learned a few things. I'm no pro, but I've learned a few things.

1) There are literally thousands of ways you can trade forex. Maybe even more.
2) Forex can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be.
3) Anything can happen. Though the majority of the time, things go the way you expect them to be. It's just that when you least expect it, something big happens and if you're not ready for it, you lose everything you gained.
4) Unless you know exactly which direction price is going to move, how much, and at what time it's going to move, you best not be putting big trades.
5) There is a phenomenon I like to call the 50-50 barrier. That is 50% right, 50% wrong. If you can find anything, I mean anything out there, that will give you good signals that *consistently over time* tip the scale over 50% in any direction, then you've got yourself what they call "the holy grail." For example, you find some talking head currency analyst on CNBC that gives weekly forecasts that turn out to be wrong 80% of the time for the last two years, or you see some dude who posts his trading calls everyday on some forex forum and they turn out to be right 60% of the time for the past 8 months. The possibilities are endless...

If I knew now what I should have known back in 2009, I could have opened an account for $5 and turned that $5 into $500K by now. In fact, that's what I'm doing right now. Better begin now, before the US government decides to put more restrictions to the industry like turning the measly 1:50 leverage we have now into 1:1 leverage, in addition to taking away hedging and the ability to close any trade at any time.

Hah, good luck with that. Much better to play it safe, make your own product, promote with white hat techniques, etc.

Stay away from stocks way to volatile at the moment. Forex is king.
commodities are iffy. precious metals? maybe if you can get your hands on the mines or land rights etc. Invest South, stay away from US markets.
Brazil,Chile,Singapore,Hongkong etc. good bets

playing the stocks? better odds in Vegas man.
anything Fed backed is pointless:pirate:

I was told Brazilian currency was the way to go. I'm just getting back into forex so would have to retrain myself. Baby pips was a decent tool for me.

I work for one of the most known forex companies in the world as a media buyer. Hit me up on PM if you guys have any questions.

Although it sounds like a good and easy way to make a lot of money, I don't recommend forex to anyone unless he or she knows how to "play".

forex brokers are even riskier then G and P.P etc.....Good luck. No passive income either!

Forex is zero sum game, so it is not a win win situation, I don't like this kind of business.

Forex sucks, but Forex Options are great because you can use much higher leverage and limit your risk (what you can't with spot trades). Only very few brokers offer genuine FX options.

I've been trading Forex for about 5 years. In 2009 I had my best phase and really made a lot of cash.......just to lose it later. Trading is absolutely not easy and it takes years to become a good trader. After facing huge losses I took a loooong break and just started to trade again a few weeks ago.

So far I'm profitable, but all I can say to any new Trader: Never ever go to any Websites with market Forecasts or recommendations or any stuff like that. Don't believe what you read, because NOBODY knows where the Market is going. You always read stuff like "if EURUSD breaks 1.25, it will hit 1.21 next" or some similar bullshit like this. If you follow these recommendations, you will hold your Positions even if the market goes against you.

If the Market goes against you, get out of your Trade and never listen to ANYONE.
It's that simple. You can not control the market, but you can control how much you will lose in a trade. So set your Stops (never lose more than 1-2% in a trade).

I have a mate who shorted the Aussie market last week and made 500k in one day! he leveraged up to 4mill though which basically meant he could have lost 800k in the day! So what am I saying? This is just gambling. Those who get lucky, make money! Those who don't lose their asses! by the way the market went down by 103 points he bet that it would go 100. If the market disn't go that extra 4 points he would have lost that 800k! He was SHITTING BRICKS while watching the tickers while in my office! When it went over the 100 mark we were all screaming and jumping and going crazyand he ended up shouting lunch dinner and Dom. However if it didn't go those extra 4 points he would have been begging me and our friends to feed his children for the next 10 years.
