Hello all bhw admins and members
i think bhw should stop let members using ai replies anymore and anyone use chatgpt ai on his replies or threads get warning
Bhw is now ai forum no more people contact no more short contacts
im vip on many forums and many of them very strict about ai replies
And i think this will be better for bhw community

There is already an AI filter under active development, but it's tricky because some people use grammarly and translation software that inserts the same AI fingerprints as copy-pasted AI.

If you see something that's obviously AI and doesn't contribute to the conversation, use the report button and add a brief explanation.

This is something we discuss internally almost every single week. Unfortunately, we're at the point of our time line where people are learning english from AI and there's so much around us that people are learning to write like AI.

Yesterday I was out with my niece. She's dutch and english is her second language. My sister in law is fluent in english and my nephew goes to an english school. So my niece really didn't have any choice. However, she's addicted to Tiktok and Youtube. You'll never guess how she was talking yesterday? Just like AI because that's how she's consuming her new language. If people are starting to write like AI, we don't stand a chance of removing all of it.

Personally, at this point, I'm less worried about the threads and posts that sound like AI vs. the users who just copy/paste everything generated. Including the hallucinations. I much rather have correct info but AI sounding than all of the wrong info wrapped in AI slop.

damn, AI already done this.... then in 5-10 years it will be completely bonkers ..

and yeah, you're right about the correctness of info, though I guess they'll solve that too at some point.

its already in place you can try copying something from AI and past it on the forum you will see a warning
