No more backlinks from imgur's posts?

in the past i used to upload a random picture to imgur and put a backlink to my site (i usually put a link to new pages of my site)
i know that it isn't a powerful links but i believe that they help google to get and index faster the new pages

and now when i try to put a link of my site into a description it automatically adds spaces in the url
i write the url: www.domain.com
and when i share the new post in the desctiption it show url like that: http: //www. domain .com

if i try to edit it remove the spaces it bring them back...

so is it a temporary bug or imgur block the option to add links in the description?

anyone can give me an alternative idea, or a good site with high DA to put there links in posts?

any suggestions on this? i see the same issue. it seems no more backlinks from imgur

I think Imgur have changed it so we can't get backlinks anymore. Didn't work for me last week neither.
