I definitely recommend you YouTube. I also started with a website and never got to make real income. Then I jumped into google and I started to get real money. YouTube is 10 times better than Google nowadays as a search engine as people want to see all products with their own eyes (or just a video with the product) so that they can buy. People is too lazy to read now and we need to supply what they demand, so video it is.
Of course this is just my opinion, but there are many ways to make videos on YouTube even if you don't want to show your face. Just find a product that many people is looking for and that has little competition in YouTube and try to scale. I don't know what niche you are into but better if you choose a niche that FB won't ban. Google is fine but FB ads is better in my opinion. So if you choose a niche that FB allows you can drive traffic to your YouTube Channel with a few dollars only.
