no longer ranking for keywords??

All of a sudden i got dropped from google for alot of my keywords. Domain is over a year old. No black hat on the site. I am not banned from google and Google just updated me to PR1 this month. Any Ideal?

I just got dropped too, it was a 4+ year old site. I am still indexed but no where to be found, not sure what happened
 
the same thing happened to two of my website. they are both still indexed but neither comes up under any keywords now.
 
same here, i submitted a reconsideration request a few days ago and my site came back up after 3 days, however i lost rankings on all of my keywords
 
So does this means we have been penalized? And how to do you submit reconsideration form?

Good luck! I've never had any success with a reconsideration request. I've been after them for over 2 years on a whitehat site that got excluded, to no avail.

Apparently some get results, but I haven't been so lucky.
 
Thats because your using blackhat. i have not use any blackhat at all on that particular site
 
Sorry to here about that CPUGEEK its seems strange that Google banned a whitehat site. Maybe they linked it to one of your blackhat sites somehow or your servers ip address is linked to a blackhat site?
 
i have been monitoring a couple of keywords the last month and there has been some big changes for the sites that are ranking...

maybe something is going on behind the scenes, google is maybe tweaking their variables.
 
You need to have fresh content and optimize your site for this keywords, and a lot of backlinks to, while the competition its only higher and higher your sites will drop with the time if you don`t work on them!
 
Yep.

Same happened to me too....happened yesterday morning.

Since then i basically get nothing from google. Prior to this i had a heap of phrases in the top 10 on google. Haven't used any black hat on the site either.

What is going on?
 
Well, im back! After a few days with no rank i am back where i was. Not sure what happened but damn, it feels to be good on top.
 
Had the same some time ago with another site, this happened two times to my site.

It took about 4 - 5 days until it was back, it was something like a REindex..my site was then better then before.
 
Same here! I got nailed for one reason or another in mid June and didn't get de-listed, but I ended up at the bottom of the barrel.

Since then I did everything by the book to get back to where I was. Finally reached page 5 for my main terms and even got a boost up to a page rank of 2 and then last Wednesday GONE. Damn!

I'll resubmit this week and hope this whole thing was just a glitch, but I won't get my hopes up.

A few days back there was a Google algorithm update.Which is why all of us have seen these drastic changes in search results.


My suggestion is if you want to get your raking back, Build pr3+ backlinks with your target keywords as anchor text. Even i lost my rankings tooo.


Frankly speaking i was getting decent traffic for 25 keywords on my site, now only 3 of them work, Thanks to yahoo, I got a hike in ranking out there, & guess what my adsense revenue has doubled since i have started getting some good traffic from yahoo.
 
Feel your pain. PR6 still but went to the bottom on a 6 year old site with only WH. Happened a couple of times over the years but only for a week or two and regained without any changes. Keep your head up, I know what it's like to lose xx,xxx a month but if you keep pushing forward it will get better if you aren;t relying on G. Think of it as a gift and move forward getting your income from many sources. Good Luck.
