No******** Links

Hi Friends,

I am new in seo and I want to learn about seo and I am too much confused about the importance of No******** Links. I have already concerned with lots of people about no******** links and I got different answer from them. Most of the people said NoFollow is not so worthy because Google does not consider it in Back-links and NoFollow links are useless for our keywords to get into rankings.

Please provide me the best answer about No******** Links

Building NoFollow Backlinks will not be worth it. Google does "not follow" the links and therefore does not consider it a backlink.

They have value but just not as strong as followed links. It is best to have a mix of both types of links so it looks natural for search engines.

It's refreshing to see someone who knows what he's talking about here. I'm so tired of seeing threads in SEO forums where people label nofollow links as "worthless" !

The truth is, it's dangerous not to have any nofollow links in your backlink profile.

If newbies can understand this, they can begin to understand what the real point of professional link-building is all about: replicating the natural back-link profiles of successful websites.

I personally build links in every form.. With WWW. and Without, ******** and NoFollow .com/ and just .com.... Not everyone is going to backlink to your site with the same URL structure.

Link diversity and velocity is very important. You have to build a good number of nofollow alowng with do follow link to make thing natural and less suspicious.

No follow links do get followed, and they do pass link juice, and it is natural for a site to get them, and without them you will stand out like a sore thumb because your link diversity does not look natural.

Thesame thing goes for links with your URL as the anchor text. This is how many real people wold link to a site they found, yet no one ever tells you to build links with your URL as anchor text. (Except onthegoaudio1 up above, + rep given) This is in fact the most common link you can get on the web, because Tech Muggles will write on their blog " I found a great site called www.whatever.com that has a good article on blah, blah, blah. They will not use the keyword anchor text because they don't have a clue what it is. They are just telling someone about a site they found.

How do you think your link diversity looks if you have very few of the most common naturally occurring links on the web? When you find a good place to leave a comment that is unrelated to your site, every once in a while drop in one with your URL as the anchor text. It helps your diversity, and is perfect for a no-follow.

And by the way, you build backlinks for SEO value and traffic, you should build quality links and do not worry if they are do-follow or no-follow. If they do not help your SEO, they will still give people a way to find your site. You can never have too much traffic.

In the future I believe that no-follow links will be give more weight, simply because no one spams them and they are more natural links. We will have to see about that, but there is no doubt that they help a web site.

People say nofollow links are worthless, but they are saying in comparison to f ollow links.
Also, they use to bring a lot of link juice at one time... and now they don't as much.


In my opinion, you need both.

Nofollow is also considered as good backlinks for your site. Digg has a nofollow link but it is very worthy. How ever from seo point of view nofollow does not help to increase the pr of your site. But it is still very worth backlinks if it is from a high pr nofollow site.

People who disregard no-follow links completely are crap at SEO.

Wikipeida links are no follow, and i'm sure everyone would want a link from there.
