No indexing

It's been 24+ hours since I installed wp and published a handful of articles on a new site. Also did the search console setup, but it's not getting indexed.

What should I do?

It's not just submitting article will be indexed. Try Google API Indexing
 
There are 3 solutions for this: you apply google news, get links from google news approved site, or you install google index api to your site.

First approach is to stop publishing articles in batches. Better to schedule them over a period of time so you have daily articles posted. It helps a great deal in the long run.

The third option is only possible via rankmath plugin only I guess, right?
 
Indexing is now a days pain in ass if you want to speed indexing process just improve crawlabilty of your site or try indexing services from marketplace
 
use indexers , some owners block their crawl bots for specific posts !

what you should do is wait a bit more... they need some time to digest the whole internet

on a serious note, is your domain a new or an old/expired one?
have you checked its history before buying the domain?
i made this mistake before, bought a new fresh domain just to find out it was used before several years ago

Is it still not indexed at all now? Even after request indexing on GSC?
I don't know what happens with your site, maybe you just need to wait?

I rarely use new domains, but I bought a new fresh one in Feb (.com promo). Left it idle with empty WP installed.
Last month I schedule 1 post per day, now it has 33 posts published.
I don't submit it on GSC, just let it post 1 post per day.
For 2 weeks, there was no index, and now it only has 1 page indexed. And it's an inner page, not the homepage.

Maybe it will get better indexing if I submit it on GSC and request index. But I am not in rush with this site, so I will keep it this way, for now, to see how Google reacts. I plan to post maybe 50 posts there and see how it goes.

Bing, on the other hand, shows 26 results when I searched site:thatdomain.com

My other new sites (2-3 weeks old), built from expired domains, are indexed properly and quickly on Google. Just for comparison purposes.
