Do you know him?
Are you clairevoyant?
Do you have Google's algo for sanboxing stencilled inside your eyelids

If you don't know the SPECIFIC facts for the OP (site, links, content,BL velocity, PR range, and all the other factors) then you are probably talking out of turn.

NHSEO is fine for ranking small/local/none comeptitive sites
It can be used to gain a descrete number of high PR links with some level of small content for context.

Or you can turn it on, leave all the settings, and spam your site to shit.
That's up to the user.

Bit unless you KNOW the OP's site inside out, unless you KNOW their backlink scructure and methods..You have no where near enough knowledge to make such sweeping statements

It's NEVER the tool - It's ALWAYS the way it's used.

At the time this post was written you could only get danced.
Even now with Penguin and over op it's STILL not sandboxed - you can still recover in 8-12 weeks. Many people have.
Skill up, apply the fix..move on.

The bottom line is you'll NEVER know why your site got sandboxed. You can only play it under the radar from here on out.

This thread pre-dates Penguin - so most of the eanswers before April could be/maybe in need of careful review.
Ressurecting old threads in SEO for advice is never a good ideas. Last years hot tip is this years recipe for disaster.
