Do a nofollow guest post worth it ? Will it bump up the metrics of my site ??
 
yes if its interesting and it will drive an attention of people to visit your website
 
If its quality website then definitely yes, there is world outside of SEO as well.

The answer is definitely yes. There are a lot of benefits that no follow links. It was all about getting the user to your website. And that’s exactly what a nofollow link can still do today.
 
You need some no-follow as part of diversity, a site with 100% do-follow isn't the norm.
 
Nofollow is not useful to bump your metrics to your site.

******** only pass the link juices so Nofollow links not passes the link juice. It is only useful for getting traffic to your site.
 
Depends on the site.

If the post is going to get traffic, then sure.

If the post is on a high-DR, non web2.0 site, then sure.

If the post is on a blog with decent-at-best metrics and probably won't get traffic, I wouldn't waste my $$.

There's plenty of other avenues for nof0llow links that are more cost effective.
 
If it's from a high authority site, then no follow guest post link is good to have diversity of links.
