My site is new and has 173 backlinks but 100 are no-follow link, will this affect ranking? will this affect my site?

If the links get clicked and ping sent back to google, then they help you.

nofollow links include a small piece of code, called an attribute, that lets search engine bots know not to follow the link. According to Google, nofollow links don't pass any PageRank to the website being linked.

It won't harm your site but try to find 'do follow' links when gaining new ones.

No follow links are good for diversity but you need to add quality do follow links too

Nofollow links don’t affect your site and don’t pass any link juice but it can help to get traffic on your website

on the contrary,having a few no-follow links in your backlinks profile actually helps your SEO efforts because it makes your backlinks profile look legitimate. If you only had do-follow links - and 100s of them, too - it could get you in trouble.
Also, I think you have too many no-follow links.... or, too few do-follow links if you prefer. Make sure you get more do-follow links and also make sure you get a diversity of them, too (both texts and image backlinks)

Unless those backlinks are on bad neighborhoods, it's not going to hurt your site.
Nofollow means that the site linking to yours doesn't wish to pass link authority to your site. It won't help or hurt your site. But they're still good to have for natural backlink profile.

They don't affect you but at the same time, they don't prove to more useful as that of Do-follow links. So better look for Do follow links in the upcoming days.
