No email after IG acc created

Hi

Is it normal that I do not get any email after i create IG account?
Shouldn't be there any confirmation or something?

I had the same problem! I figured out something was wrong with my gmail account. It was like gmail deleted my mail. Try to confirm it with a other gmail.
